We are New Chances, a little about us:

New Chances is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that transforms the lives of women and children affected by incarceration. At New Chances our team works hard and strives to help change lives one comeback at a time! Our goal is to help break the cycle of incarceration in our local communities. We want to use our blog the Unwanted Vacation to change the perception of Americans with criminal records, to educate our communities on the resources available through New Chances, and to get the assistance of the public and ex-offenders on how we can do things better. We want opinions, new ideas, suggestions, and strategies on how to create better re-entry programs and putting an end to the vicious cycle of mass incarceration. We hope you follow us and be a part of the change.
